LOS ANGELES – March 17, 2014 – This summer two of the world's greatest rock bands, KISS and DEF LEPPARD, are set to deliver a massive tour dedicated to fans who wanna rock and roll all night! These two legendary rock bands spanning two continents announced today that they will launch the tour as KISS celebrates their 40th year in music. The summer's biggest hit-fueled rock tour, promoted exclusively by Live Nation, will storm through 40-plus cities throughout North America kicking-off on Monday, June 23 in West Valley City, UT at the USANA Amphitheater.  
 
KISS and Def Leppard will play Walnut Creek Amphitheatre Raleigh on July 20.
 
KISS and Def Leppard jointly decided to support our heroes and honor their dedicated fans in the armed services by partnering with numerous military organizations for the tour. Partnerships will include the USO, Hiring Our Heroes, Project Resiliency/The Raven Drum Foundation, August Warrior Project and the Wounded Warrior Project. All military personnel will be given exclusive access to discounted tickets for the tour with their own pre-sale through Military.com/Monster.com while also participating in the tour launch announcement featuring a live streamed Q&A with band members from KISS and Def Leppard in Los Angeles, California at the House Of Blues on Monday, March 17. Military charities will receive a  portion of ticket sales with the money raised being split amongst all the non-profit organizations participating with the summer tour.

Directions

All roads lead to Walnut Creek Amphitheatre located in Raleigh's Walnut Creek Park just southeast of Raleigh and just two miles off I-40 and I-440. Many shows attract very large crowds and to avoid traffic delays we advise that you arrive at your designated I-40 / I-440 exit no later than 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours prior to the start of the show.

From the West:
Take I-40 East to Raleigh, Exit #300 - Rock Quarry Road.

From the South and East:
Take I-95 North to I-40 West to Raleigh, Exit #303 - Jones Sausage Road.

From the North and East:
Take US 64 West to Raleigh on to I-440 Inner Beltline (South), Exit #15 - Poole Road.


Parking

There are 9 lots adjacent to amphitheatre.

A parking fee is included in the price of each ticket. There is no payment for parking when you arrive at Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek.

VIP parking, close to the gates, is available for $30.00 per car.

Parking lots generally will open 1 hours prior to show time. Please call our administrative office for exact time.

Tailgating / Alcohol in the Parking Lot
-There is a City of Raleigh open container ordinance that is in effect in all parking lots.
-This City ordinance specifically prohibits open containers of beer or wine.
-The State of North Carolina laws also restrict open consumption of liquor of any kind.
-Officers from the Raleigh Police Department, Wake County and State of North Carolina Alcohol Beverage Commissions regularly patrol parking lots.
-Walnut Creek Amphitheatre welcomes fans who want to picnic before shows; however, cars must occupy only one parking space. Grills are not permitted on sidewalks, in roadways, near buildings or in any area where guests or property may be damaged.
-Glass bottles are also discouraged.
-Beer, wine, and mixed drinks are served inside venue with proper I.D.
-Please always drink responsibly and appoint a designated driver.

If a certain item (listed or unlisted) is essential to your concert enjoyment, please call our administrative offices at 919-831-6400 on the show day for specific information on the show you plan to attend. Our list of items to bring or not bring are designed to be fair to everyone and meet a combination of safety goals including providing smooth access into the venue when we have large crowds. Camera Policy: Personal cameras are allowed in the venue. Flash photography, video and removable lens cameras are not permitted without venue approval.

Kids Under 2:
-Children under the age of 2 years will be admitted free to all events as long as they sit in the Adult patrons lap and do not utilize an additional seat.
-This policy applies to both the lawn seating area and the reserved seating areas.
